A three-time soccer All-American at SUNY Oneonta, and recipient of the Hermann Award as college soccer’s best player in 1974, Quraishi was the #1 draft pick of the Tampa Bay Rowdies and the North American Soccer League (NASL) in 1975. He was selected to the NASL All-Star First Team as a rookie and helped the Rowdies win the NASL Championship in their inaugural season. On his retirement from pro soccer, Quraishi joined Caspers Company, the largest McDonald's franchisee in the Southeastern United States, where he managed the company's public relations and sports sponsorship initiatives.

Quraishi served as venue executive director for the Orlando venue of World Cup USA 1994, an event whose success generated a $60 million profit that benefited the US Soccer Federation and led to the founding of Major League Soccer. Quraishi, as president and general manager of the Tampa Bay Mutiny, led the club to the best record in MLS in its inaugural season, producing the MLS Coach of the Year, MVP, Leading Goal scorer and six MLS All-Stars. He also managed Mass Pro Soccer, owner/operator of three teams in the USL and has worked extensively with match analysis software programs for video analysis of sports. Quraishi brings more than 35 years of soccer experience at all levels to his role with LVM.
