Tom holds a B.A. degree from the College of the Holy Cross (1975) and a J.D. degree from George Mason University School of Law (1981). The practice of law led Tom to private industry in 1986 where he spent several successful years managing privately held and publicly traded multi-national high tech companies. As the CEO of advanced international research and development companies, he established and managed businesses in the United States, England, Ireland, Scotland, France, Germany, Singapore, Malaysia and Taiwan. Bagley was recognized by INC. Magazine as CEO of one of America’s five hundred fastest growing privately held companies. He has served as a board member of the National Electronics Manufacturing Initiative (NEMI), an organization of senior executives from leading US electronics companies with a brief from the US government to develop a roadmap to position America’s global technology strategy. He was the founder, president and chairman of the Surface Mount Technology Association, an industry trade association representing virtually all major manufacturers of technology equipment designed for use in printed circuit board assembly. Tom served on the Corporate Advisory Board of the Rochester Institute of Technology. He has extensive experience in executing complex multi-national strategic plans and multi-million dollar agreements in sales, mergers and acquisitions. Tom is a member of the Sports Lawyers Association, a non-profit, international, professional organization whose common goal is the understanding, advancement and ethical practice of sports law. With over five million air miles, Tom is an executive who feels at home on any continent. Throughout his years in business, Tom maintained strong ties to the game of soccer as a player, coach, professional club owner, and league executive committee member. The decision to merge those educational, business and sports experiences led to the launch of Long View Management LLC.
